Travel VISAs for South American countries

Travel abroad requires preparation
   - Ensure that you have a current, valid passport that is not about to expire
   - Determine whether you need a visa for the countries you plan to visit. Investigate this as
early as possible as some countries may require up to six months' notice. The links below are
provided to assist you in ascertaining visa requirements. Not all links are official government
links, so speak to your travel agent, if in doubt.
   - Consider registering with your local Embassy when you arrive so that you are contactable
especially if you are travelling to areas of political uncertainty.
   - Investigate any precautionary or mandatory immunizations.
   - Some countries require proof of sufficient funds and an exit ticket.
   - Research local customs, laws and dress codes to avoid inadvertent offence
       (see Travel page).
